About

Hope in Recovery has but one purpose, that of serving the fellowship of codependents in recovery. Its goals are to carry the recovery message to those who still suffer from codependency, and to offer healthy support of the continuing growth of those recovering from codependency.

Hope in Recovery Serves in Multiple Ways

  • Hope in Recovery serves as the voice of the group it represents in communication with other codependence recovery groups.
  • Hope in Recovery serves as the voice of the Hope in Recovery weekly meeting.
  • Hope in Recovery may sponsor certain events, retreats, workshops, fellowship opportunities, etc.

What to Expect

A CoDA meeting is the result of people, many with life experiences similar to you, who come together following the Steps and Traditions of the program and share their experience strength and hope to find peace, love, and acceptance.

The Hope in Recovery meeting is an open share meeting. During these meetings, everyone has a chance to talk and share how they are working their program or how they have not been able to handle things well. When you are not talking, it is important to do nothing more than listen.

This meeting is also a topic share meeting. The group leader may decide to discuss different aspects of the recovery program as a topic of the meeting.

First Meeting

CoDA meetings are independent and might have subtle difference, you can expect to find consistency in the message of acceptance and hope. Click the link above for more information.
